Jim is the founder and managing director of the Formula Karting Group. Jim brings a wealth of experience having built Formula Karting from one race circuit into a multi race circuit and a multi veune Karting group. Together with his team, he is very proud to be recognised as having some of the largest and most successful karting and event centres in the world today. Jim comes from a farming background and has many interests and hobbies. Apart from his main interest, that of his family, he enjoys farming and working with machinery, rallying, skiing, flying, socialising and weekend breaks with family and friends. Jim is also Secretary of the European Kart Circuit Operators Association, sits on the board of the NSAI (National Standards Authority Ireland) for kart safety standards in the European Commission, is a director of Newry City Football Club, sits on the committee of the Newry Motor Club and is a member of other local motor clubs and local football clubs.
