Is there any age or height restriction to go karting?
Minimum age is 8 years and minimum height is approximately 150cm. No maximum age or height restriction.
Any group with 20 or more drivers will allow the organiser to go free of charge.
How long will the racing take?
Each race is different. For example, a 10 driver Grand Prix will take approx 1.5 hrs, for every 10 people after that it will take another hour - the more drivers in the race the longer the Grand Prix will last.
Track 1 has a long straight with very few corners and it sweeps down past the viewing area.
Track 2 is the inside track with tight banked corners.
Track 3 is a mixture of both, with both long straights and tight corners.
All tracks are multi-levelled, with underpasses, overpasses, tunnels, ramps, bridges and banked corners.
Do i need to make a reservation?
Due to the popularity of karting,racing events are generally booked in advance and it is always worth calling us on 028 3026 6220 to check track availability before visiting.Also when booking a grand prix a depoist of 2 drivers will be asked for
Yes, all drivers watch a EKCO safety briefing that explains driving instructions, use of equipment and the rules of the karting.
Do you offer catering?
We have tea/coffee, soft drinks and snack bar. Outside catering can be arranged if required (prices available on request).
