 1. HOW DO I GO ABOUT RUNNING A RACE FOR MY OWN GROUP?

Simply get a group of drivers and call us on (028) 3026 6220, or use the Contact form on this website. We also accept bookings by fax to (028) 3026 3360.

The circuit will require a £ 75 booking fee and all major credit cards are accepted. We recommend where each driver in the group will be paying for him/herself, that a small deposit of say £10 be collected from each person by the organiser and retained by him/her, this avoids people pulling out of the group at a late stage. While we ask for an approximate number of drivers in each race to be advised when booking we only charge for the number of drivers who actually show up for the race, subject to minimum charge of £250.

 2. HOW LONG WILL THE RACE MEETING TAKE?

A Grand Prix race for 20 drivers can take about 2.5 hours to run. For larger numbers it is approximately one hour for every 10 drivers.

A Mini Endurance race takes approximately an hour and a half to run.

 3. WHAT DO I NEED TO TAKE WITH ME?

Helmets, gloves and race wear will be provided. We would suggest flat, comfortable shoes, possibly runners. Long hair must be tied back and kept inside the helmet at all times.

 4. DO YOU GIVE INSTRUCTIONS TO BEGINNERS?

Yes - we recommend that you listen attentively to our pre-race briefing. It is surprisingly easy and great fun provided you know the correct way to drive your kart. The whole secret is to slow down into the corners and fast out, the speed out of a corner determines the speed down the straight and it is the speed on the straights that gives good lap times. Avoid sliding out the tail of the kart, because in so doing all you achieve is to scrub off speed and lose acceleration.

Yes, we have a shop with soft drinks, crisps and chocolate bars. On request we can provide tea/coffe and sandwiches. If a hot meal is required, we have outside caterers who can serve whatever you require.

 9. CAN WE JOIN ANOTHER GROUP?

Most of our group bookings are private or corporate parties. At our discretion we can ask an event organiser if other drivers can join in. However, since a Mini Endurance can be a run with a minimum of four drivers, we find there is little need to join other events.

 10. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T LIKE IT?

If you do not like karting and do not want to continue driving, try to stop as close to the pits area as possible and remain in your kart until a marshall comes to your assistance. Go straight to reception and your money will be refunded accordingly.
